Q: What is the Airbus plug on the Telex 750 airman headset?

The Airbus style plug are designed for use in Airbus or select ATR aircraft aircraft equipped with a 5-pin XLR connector. The XLR connection provides power, microphone and audio to a 5-pin XLR equipped headset. The Telex 750 headset does not have ANR so the connection on this headset is providing microphone and audio. These headsets do NOT have the dual GA plugs found in most fixed wing aircraft. We also offer adapters to convert the 5-pin XLR plug to dual GA plugs which will allow the headset to be used in either environment.
