This insertion & extraction tool consists of a handle, a cap, six insertion/extraction tips, a plug, and a .050-in. hex wrench. The handle of the tool provides storage for the tips, plug and hex wrench. The insertion/extraction tips convert the tool for the appropriate product and are used to insert or extract connector contacts. Each tip is color coded according to specific type and wire size. The hex wrench is used to tighten the set screw which secures the tip in the tool handle. |
Pin Tool With Intrchgbl Tips
It broke on the second pin ,go figure.
Pin Tool With Intrchgbl Tips
Works great for me. Used it on low and high density already. Glad I got it. A+ Just gotta be sure to use the correct tip.
No instructions, so it took me a few minutes of fiddling with it to determine how to assemble it: Probes are obvious by size with color stripe for easy ID, but you have to find the set screw in the accessory bag and install it using the included hex wrench. The crux is that the little metal stud in the bag needs to be placed inside the base of the probe (EACH TIME the probe is changed), to give support to the thin probe base - the stud is presumably the surface against which the set screw holds to keep the probe in place. All spare parts fit inside the capped hollow handle.
Pin Tool With Intrchgbl Tips
The interchangeable tips are too flexible
Purchased this product some years ago, every tip is broken too flimsy and was a waste of money Nick
