Note that this switch is much smaller than you would expect. The switch is actually smaller than the pictures size. I assumed that it was the same size as most PTT switches and it was unusable upon receipt

Works perfectly. Nice easy switch doesn’t take much pressure.
Seems to work well. Handled the heat of soldering just fine. Would prefer a star or lock washer under the nut to address vibration induced failure.

For part number 11-01899 the body of the switch is 1/4" wide, the height of the PTT with button is 5/8" and 1/2" without button and the hole size for the PTT is 5/32".

This would require soldering the wire. There is no connector made for this.
These switches are not certified on their own. They are commonly used in aircraft and may be approved as replacements under the airframe approval. It is always wise to consult with an A&P before installing any part on a certified aircraft.
