Designed for the model A470A or model A450 series remote strobe lighthead assemblies. The model H102 allows flush mounting of the lighthead to the skin of the fuselage or the vertical stabilizer on later model Cessna Single engines. The H103 is designed for strobe assemblies to be installed in the standard 3-3/4” (95mm) dia. rotating beacon mounting hole.

Whelen parts are of high quality and affordable.
Good fit on the round gasket W1283.
Works great as mounted on top of the fuselage. I didnt catch the fact that I need a mounting plate and therefore had to pay shipping on a separate order...
Good quality part, well packed. Extremely high price for small gasket. Need second source for older Cessna parts.

The H102 adapter is used for flush mounting, and the H103 is used for mounting in a standard 3-3/4" rotating beacon hole.
Yes, these are FAA - PMA approved.
Yes, this is PMA approved.
It would require a power supply.
Per Whelen: The H102 can be removed. It is simply a means to "clamp" the legacy lights to the fin cap. The new LED beacons have a mounting base built in that has the same hole pattern as the anchor nuts in the vertical fin of the airplane = easy install. The 71055 will work. The 71080 Series will work (30% brighter) but a little taller. The 7108051 (Spruce p/n - 11-07686) assuming the aircraft is 14volt.
