Q: Does the MCI USB port require a circuit breaker? If yes, can one circuit breaker suffice for 1, 2, or 3 ports located throughout the aircraft?

3 amp circuit breaker can be used on multiple ports.

Q: Do the MCI True Blue USB ports work with Apple products?

Yes, these chargers are commonly used with Apple products.

Q: Is the charging output different between the USB-A and USB-C ports?

USB-A and USB-C are just different shaped connectors. Charging specs would be the same.

Q: Does this require at STC and 337 or just a logbook entry? It came with no paperwork.

It is TSO'd so it can be legally installed on a certified aircraft. You would need to consult your A&P/IA as to what would need to be done as far as signing it off.

Q: I see that this unit has built in short circuit protection. Is a circuit breaker still required? What about using an AGC type fuse with a bayonet inline fuse holder or an AGC type fuse holder?

Per the installation guidelines, a circuit breaker is still required. The manufacturer recommends a 3 amp breaker, or a 2 amp breaker if being installed in a 28V airframe.

Q: What color are these? The photo is blue, but all of the photos in the manual are black.

They are black. We are updating our website and catalog photos. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
