Fiberglass Cloth Stand 1522-50
Fiberglass Cloth Stand 1522-50
The cloth arrived on a roll as I had requested. The cloth is free of any blemish or imperfections. The order arrived on time. I use this cloth for wood strip kayaks and SUPs. Its important that when the 4 coats of epoxy dries, that none of the cloth weave shows. If the cloth is over 2 years old, the coating on the fiberglass will be too old and the weave will show through. This happened a few years ago when I purchased cloth from another vendor. Any cloth I have ever purchased from Aircraft Spruce has dried totally transparent. I will continue to buy from these guys. The last thing I want is to spend 60 hours building a SUP or 175 on a kayak, only to find that because the fiberglass was old, the weave is showing......Not cool. I will continue to buy from Aircraft Spruce.
Ordered this for an RC wooden boat. Ive not used the material yet but it was in good order.
Would be excellent for larger smooth surfaces. Thin, so fairly fragile. Order on a roll as I did would not suggest folded delivery. Does not conform well to hard bends.

Yes, this cloth has a 2 year shelf life from the date of manufacture.
Yes it is bidirection. Fiber is the same in both directions however pick count is less in the fill direction.
