Q: Can the Start Pac LI2000GQ unit be used as a ground power unit, as in staying plugged in while in use?

Per the manufacturer, the Start Pac LI2000GC is only designed to be used to start the aircraft. Any other use that draws more than 3 amps will damage the unit. This is not to be used as a GPU.

Q: What is the condition of the start pac LI2000QC starter if it is plugged and the green LED indicator is not on steady, but it is blinking? Is it normal?

This is not normal. This would mean that the charger cannot see the battery and it is not charging. It could be either one of two things. The terminals on the top of the battery are possibly dirty. You would need to take the top off to the clean the terminals. After they have been cleaned, put the top back on and try to recharge the battery. If this still does not work, contact Start Pac with the serial number so they can figure out how old the unit is. This would mean it is possibly a component failure in the system.

Q: Unit weight? Can this be safely transported in the aircraft cargo area (inaccessible) ?

The units weight is about 30 lbs. We recommend he carry his Start Pac in the cabin where its warm. If you let this cold soaked it will not work well. Try to keep the Start Pac from 70-900F. You can carry it in your own aircraft but not on a passenger aircraft.

Q: What is the input power of the equipment? 110/210V?

Input power is 110v.
