Prevents inadvertent operation of the switch. Switch can be operated only when the spring-loaded guard is lifted up. Returning guard to the down position forces the switch lever to the off position. Single-hole type for neck-mount switches such as AN3021 and AN3027. Three-hole type for panel-mounted switches such as AN3023. Color: Red. |
Aviation quality switch guard, installed this on my avionics master after a passenger turned it off accidentally on decent into the Dallas area. Good stuff, okay price.
Switchguard MS25224-1 (1-Hole)
EXCELLENT! Exact Mil spec match to what is already in my aircraft. Positive powerful closing snap. Disregard the other reviews on here that say the size isnt right for a Mil spec toggle switch, It is. It works perfectly, and closes fully. A mil spec toggle should be set to the proper height using the screws to adjust during install. I have these in my aircraft and they are exactly right. No dremel needed. Just set the proper switch height.
Switchguard MS25224-1 (1-Hole)
Bad design. Does not cover threaded neck of toggle switch. Dremeled and dremeled but it still looks half-open. Disappointing.
Switchguard MS25224-1 (1-Hole)
These are supposed to match with the AN3021, not so much. The guard is too narrow for the toggle so in does not really fit over the handle when closed. Looks very unprofessional.
