The first totally new look in VHF antennas in decades, the CI 248-5 was tested to some of the most rigorous requirements outlined in RTCA DO-160D. Designed for single engine and helicopter applications.

Truly unique, the CI 248-5 is the only VHF antenna with a built-in notch filter, that allows installation in close proximity to GPS antennas without co-sight interference.

Note: Comant Antennas no longer come with a gasket or template. Must order PN 09-05579 separately.

Q: the Comant antennas no longer come with the gaskets, and the part number they reference to buy is sealant. Are the antennas installed with out gaskets and just sealed with this sealant?

Yes, that is correct. The sealant is intended to be used instead of the gasket.
