They work great but they are bigger than 1/4 ID close to 3/8
These are good for what they are, but are too big to neatly terminate shields on 2 and 3 conductor 24 gauge wire. The Sumitomo .250 solder sleeves that Spruce also sells are smaller than these 1/4 inch sleeves and work a lot better for that application.
